Hello, and welcome! My name is Ramon, and I’m a 39-year-old originally from Spain, now living in Minnesota. In 2017, after meeting and marrying my husband, I moved to the U.S. from London, where we had built a life together. Today, we share our home with two wonderful black Labradors who bring us endless joy.
This blog is a chronicle of my deeply personal and transformative journey as I convert to Judaism. For years, I wrestled with questions of faith, identity, and belonging, searching for a spiritual path that resonated with me. Judaism has become that spiritual home, offering me not only a deeper connection to my beliefs but also an opportunity to reflect on the person I want to be and the community I hope to build.
As food is my love language, I’ll also be sharing some of my favorite Kosher recipes along the way! Cooking has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I’m excited to explore how it ties into my new spiritual journey.
Through these posts, I’ll share the insights, challenges, and celebrations I encounter along the way. Whether you’re here out of curiosity, seeking to learn more about Judaism, or are on a similar path yourself, I hope my story provides inspiration, comfort, and a sense of connection.
Thank you for joining me on this meaningful journey!
